  • Chess ‘n Math Association Christmas Blitz (by invitation)

Only three days left; the tournament is now online. The ratings used are those for “parties rapides” from the FQE’s electronic bulletin dated December 04, 2017 (in the absence of such rating – “semi-rapides”, then “lentes” FQE ratings).

Please check your data and contact me if any corrections are needed. There are at least two players who are not known to the FQE, nor the CFC.

Those who didn’t have a chance yet to RSVP to Anaïs and Virginie, please hurry up to register. :).

    Thank you.

On Thursday, the Chess'n Math Association and the Montreal Chess Club join together for the annual Xmas party which is held at a nearby restaurant. The event is for staff, teachers and club members. Last year, 86 people took part and the restaurant stayed open late for us to complete the blitz event which starts after we have finished eating. We expect to have over 100 people attending this year.

Our Toronto event will be held on Dec. 17 while our Ottawa event was held in late November.

The last mystery player has been positively identified; three new registrations have been added. Thanks to Mr. Nesterov and Ms. Roux for the information.

        28 players now.

Congratulations to Thierry Libersan who won the Blitz de Noël with a perfect score 5/5.

          The complete results.
