  • Seeking gamescore for Coppin -- Dixon, Kingston 1999

I am seeking help from anyone who may have visited the Kingston Chess Club website in previous years, and downloaded or copied out the game Coppin -- Dixon, 0-1, Kingston rapid 1999 (that is the year, I believe).

The game was once up on this site, but has been taken down. I have since misplaced my own scoresheet and notes. I had a nasty flood in my apartment last summer, and lost a lot of material in that mishap, including this game. I've since moved to a much better apartment!

The game began like this, in a Najdorf Sicilian:
    1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Bg5 e6 7.f4 Be7 8.Qf3 Qc7 9.0-0-0 Nbd7 10.g4 b5 11.Bxf6 gxf6 12.Kb1, and then I don't have the rest of it. White's 12.Kh1 is apparently a novelty, and Black won in 25 moves with some nice tactical play.

If you have this game, you can help me by either posting it here, or emailing me at: frzephyr@hotmail.com.

    Thanking you in advance! :)

    Cheers,
    Frank Dixon
    Kingston
