  • New Wikipedia page for IM Laszlo Witt

I have written a new page on Wikipedia for International Master Laszlo Witt (1933-2005). :)

IM Witt fled Hungary at age 23, with his family, during the failed Hungarian revolution of 1956, settling in Montreal and later in Toronto.

I am planning to add more material to this, including references to a selection of his best games.

My article draws from FM Robert Hamilton's superb tribute to IM Witt, published in the April 2006 issue of Chess Canada magazine.

I've also included details of his main competitive results, drawn from a variety of online sources.

If anyone has further important information on Witt, either edit it into the Wikipedia article yourself, or post it here and I will take it forward.

Happy Holidays to everyone, and all the best for a Great New Year 2016!!
