Re: Hart House Reading Week Open

Note the following changes from previous editions:

A - One Playing Section (U1200) has been added. The U1600 Section has grown substantially and ratings vary between unrated, below 1000 and into the 1500s. We hope that by splitting it into two by adding a section, it will provide for healthier number of players for each section, while increasing the competitive aspect.

B - FIDE Ratings will be used for pairing purposes for the Crown Section only. (CFC Ratings of 2200+ will still be used as far as eligibility to play in the section goes)

        Hi Egis,
No it's not! This is the following weekend. A wedding had been booked in the Great Hall about a year in advance, for Valentine's Day (Sunday Feb 14). We could have ran the tournament upstairs that weekend, but I decided it was best to maintain our prime location space status, which meant sacrificing a round and doing a 5-round Swiss with a Friday night Round 1, the following weekend.
