    nice article. especially I agree that
    "because kids often like to please adults so if I ask them "do you understand?" they will often say yes, but really mean no :-)"
    plus I noticed sometimes, the kid may say yes yes yes for a few questions, and then ask back what was your question? an experience coach may be able to tell the true answer and repeat if necessary I guess.
