It's not. It's a dog with big paws. What in the world are you looking at?

Yes. You're right. :) When I see a cute little puppy dog I usually look at the paws. The size of the paws is often an indication of how big the dog will grow.

Geza Fuster used to say how he once had a dog that played chess, "But he not so good. I beat him two out of three!" said Geza.:D

In the movie "The Lake House" is the scene, where Sandra Bullock plays with her dog. The internet search gave this picture:

I'm looking at the caption which suggests the dog should have a queen's pawn in his mouth.

I had one that chewed gum before he swallowed it.

The main problem with dogs is they usually live about 12 years and then you feel bad. The last few years with an old dog can be expensive in vet bills. My last one cost $40. a month for arthritis medication and that went on for a couple of years. Another one got epilepsy at around 3 years of age. I used to give it two Phenabarb pills a day for about 10 years. It more or less controlled the siezures.
