  • Play chess (& other games) with music

A whole new concept for chess, Go and backgammon gaming. We will be meeting at the Toronto Tea and Coffee House, 685 Lansdowne (next to the Lansdowne subway station) on Sunday January 15 from 4 til 9pm. During the session, there will be live music - pan flute by Maestro Enriquez Fernan.
The pan flute is a soothing pre-Columbian South American instrument well-suited to peaceful contemplation, hence Go and chess playing. Please plan to attend as a good turnout will ensure that we can repeat the event on a monthly or even weekly basis. If you think you would like to attend - RSVP here.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
    Vlad Dobrich

Great idea Vlad! Good luck with it. Personally I miss all the rhythmic tickings of a roomful of chess clocks lulling me into concentration over the board.

I would prefer the silky smooth voice of Ian Kilmister to the flute, but that's just me. :) Music to play chess by!
