2nd Pub Chess Toronto Location! Etobicoke! (Sat, Feb 18, 2017)

Pub Chess Toronto is happy to state that we will be having a second location in the west end of Toronto (Etobicoke, 1 minute walk from Islington Station)! We hope to run it every Saturday starting from Feb 18. This location is also great for those of you who live in Mississauga, no need to pay for TTC since the Mississauga transit takes you right to the venue! Really hope some of you can make it! There will be a guest lecturer on Feb 18th (to be determined). Thanks everyone & have a great day.

Location: Orwell's Pub (3373 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X 1G2) - Just across the street from Islington Station.

Entry fee: $10 (Includes a drink/food ticket, tournament, casual play and one-on-one tips)

Casual Play anytime between 7 - 11 PM.

Feel free to ask the organizers for some tips during your casual games!

Tournament:

Tournament starts at 7:45 PM. There will be no money prizes, the tournament is included in the $10 club fee.

There will be the option of two time controls, blitz or rapid. Blitz - 3 minutes + 3 seconds, 5 double-round OR Rapid - 8 minutes + 5 seconds, 5 rounds
