I finally learned to format tables in HTML (yay!). Credit for this goes to Egidijus Zeromskis for his helpful posting last year and to Avinaash Sundar for guidance with some spacing issues.

Re: Richard Riedstra Memorial in Kitchener - Final Standings

Thanks to Brian Clarke and team for a wonderful well organized tournament. The number of participants has gone up again and I am sure the next one will see a better participation again. With 45 players in U-1600, probably next time around maybe needs to have another section ie U-1200 or U-1300

Next tournament coming up in Kitchener is Kitchener Active on April 29 ( 1 day tournament ) - 5 rounds tournament ( Active rated )

Great to see Shaumik Baki playing again and doing well in the under 2000.

Re: Richard Riedstra Memorial in Kitchener - Final Standings

Thanks Gary. If I had known that the Under 1600 section was going to be that large, I certainly would have added another section. Someone even suggested that to me a couple of days before the start of the tournament. I wish I could have done that but it would be different than what we had advertised. Some people could have objected.

Next time for sure, we will have at least 4 sections for our regular time-control tournaments. The quick (active) tournaments tend to have lower turnouts, so we will keep them as they are (at least for now).
