My wife, Marg, and I are heading to Amsterdam for a few days in mid-September. I have already put my finger on the Max Euwe Museum. Are there any other museums, clubs, etc. that I should check out while we are there? Advice please.

If you are into fountain pens, head over to PW Akkermann's. Not only are their inks top notch, the bottles are fantastic as well and VERY hard to source in North America.

There is the Rijksmuseum, if you are interested in Rembrandt (and much more).

I will check out all the usual sites but was looking for chess advice---clubs, cafes, museums, etc.

I played in the big Lost Boys tourney 10 years ago but got lost trying to find Euwe Square.

This games cafe is mainly chess, based on recent photos on their Facebook page. Nakamura has played there and looks like they hosted small tournaments.
