Does anybody know of any alternate chess sites that have healthy discussions and not so many off topic threads and negative arguments? (Im looking for one)

There are a couple of competing Australian sites. Both have lots of sub-groups which include some for non-chess postings.

I noticed they are also using Vbulletin...but their site is nicer :). I am getting a couple of nibbles from folks who could purchase...so hopefully we will simply transfer ownership at the end of month.

I think a lot of the traffic will migrate to the CFC discussion board.
I was asked twice today if I could add a more prominent link to the CFC discussion board on the CFC website.
Currently, you need to scroll to the bottom of the website and click on "learn more"

I think most people have already figured that out, but here is a direct link.
          Save it on your desktop.

If this site will go down, the centre of Universe - GTCL - will have own forum :) At this moment Kevin posts interesting articles on the website. If anybody else wants to become an author let me know. http://www.torontochess.org/drupal6/index.php

The Ontario Chess Association has a forum too. Though it's active only during annual meetings. http://www.ontariochess.com/forum
