• Pavan Suresh, a student of EagleMinds played well throughout the Tournament and heading to the last round with a perfect score faced some tough resistance from Saarthak Malakar and in a slightly advantageous position agreed for a draw to win the U1900 section.
• Wang Mengxuan after a tough 4th round loss was able to exploit William's weakness and sneak out a win
• Ambilwade Ojal after a tough loss in the 2nd round played extremely well to win the next 3 rounds and tied for 2nd place.
• Our Inspirational player Arnold Devin with Physical Challenge (Cerebral Palsy) played extremely well beating our tough player Hartman Liam and drawing with our Podium finisher Gauri. The Top seed and overwhelming favorite Eugene had a bad day with the time and in a near equal position with Michelle just made a move a second late to lose on Time. The last Round was a Tough one with Michelle on 4 and playing against Aaron on 3.5. Towards the end, it looked heading for a draw and Michelle turned out to be unlucky and Aaron was able to squeeze out a Win with 4.5 Points

For the last Round, there were 6 players - Wang, Selva, Karma, Eddie, Qian and Mohid fighting for a top spot.

Karma and Eddie had a hard fought draw to tie for third
Qian had a positional advantage over Mohid and finally was able to win to tie for 1st place
The game between Wang and Selva went over an hour beyond the schedule into late evening. Wang had a pawn advantage over Selva and in the end Wang could make it a 2 pawn advantage to garner a hard fought win and Tie for a 1st place
