  • EOCA Grand Prix

    Yo chess freaks,

Eastern Ontario Chess Association (EOCA) grand prix results after the RA Fall Open are available at www.eoca.org.

In the U1600 section, Keven Eyre leads with 4 points followed closely by Drew Metcalfe and Paul St-Pierre who is not impressed by your performance.... o wait that was Georges nevermind.

In the U1900 section, crafty vet Alex Danilov 2 points clear of his closest pursuers, Mark Eberle, and Fan Yang at 5 points.

The U2200 section showcases a tie at 3 points between Kevin Pacey and Sammy Yao. Rachel Miller is half a point back.

Finally the Top section features GRANDMASTER Bator Sambuev setting the pace at 5 points with Kevin Wan at 4 points and a log jam of participants at 3 points and counting.

The second of nine (not a sibling of 7of9) EOCA Grand Prix events,

    THE 2015 NATIONAL CAPITAL OPEN

takes place at the RA Centre in Ottawa on October 23,24,25.

There is a restaurant/bar in the same building.

Play your 4th round fast at partake in Sunday Brunch.

take a bus 1 or drive North on Bank Street to 250 and come visit Strategy Games between rounds.

the nitty gritty details can be assimilated from the above mentioned www.eoca.org website.

    Re: EOCA Grand Prix

    Hi Dave,

I've been trying to access the EOCA website recently, but it's either down or marked as unsafe. Any idea what's been going on lately and/or when it will be restored?

    Thanks,
    Sammy
