For the National Team: the last FIDE + bonus/penalty for the last Canadian Closed.Originally posted by Egidijus Zeromskis View PostCan you remind the latest formula?
20 points bonus for 2nd, 10 points bonus for 3rd, 10 points penalty if a player did not play/withdrew.
For the Women Team: the average (last FIDE) - (last CFC) + bonus/penalty for the last Canadian Women.

According to our rules:Originally posted by John Upper View PostIf there's no Canadian Championship before 2018, does Tomas again automatically make the Olympiad team as the "current" Canadian Champion?
a. The National Team shall consist of 5 players, as follows:
1). The winner of the last Canadian Closed that took place 5-36 months prior to the Olympiad and that has not been used as a qualification for a previous Olympiad.
2). The 4 highest ranked players as determined by formula.
3). If no tournament described in a1 took place, then the 5 highest ranked players as determined by formula.
So no Canadian Closed = 5 players by rating.

If FIDE doesn't change the frequency of publishing FIDE rating, the last rating list before the deadline will be on Apr 1, 2018.
