  • Backgammon anyone?

Chess players generally make good backgammon players.
It only takes a few minutes to learn the basics and if
you can join the elite players (with some study and practice)
you can move up to the big money wins available
from tournament play. The following announcement
was sent recently to the less successful players in order
to give them an opportunity to upgrade their game >>>

NEW at the Madison Pub Tuesdays :
    $2 chouettes for not-so-advanced players.
It's confirmed! We will be starting small stakes
chouettes for anyone wanting to gain experience
in backgammon where everyone has about equal
    chances of winning.
So come by tomorrow (Tuesday) evening any time
after 4 pm. Mostly everyone receiving this email
is beyond the beginner level, but if a few beginners
arrive, they will play each other in a separate game
if they wish. So if you know of someone who wants to
learn backgammon, bring them along. I'll be there
to introduce them to the game.
Hopefully this event will continue to meet every Tuesday.

Give it a shot? See you tonight.
