  • Harold Daykin: Amazing Man, Amazing Life

    I recently heard about Harold Daykin passing away.

    Even though he was 84 years old, he was still quite active both in mind and body (Harold was an avid walker and in one of my last conversations with him, he told me that he was going to take up tennis again).

    Harold encouraged many kids in their chess, including my own children, and got me started in the chess community. I will miss Harold.
