  • Looking for players - 21st NATO Chess Championship

    Canada has been invited to participate to the 21th annual NATO chess championship. www.natochess.com

    Championship location: Koege, Denmark.

    Dates: 18 to 22 October 2010.

    Format: 7 round Swiss system (individual pairings). Team Score: best 4 players.

    Eligibility: Civilian and military personnel of the Department of National Defence (DND) and of the Canadian Forces (regular and reserve forces). Retired personnel may play during their first year of retirement.

    Composition of the team: Teams will consist of a maximum of eight people:
    - 6 team members
    - 1 team captain
    - 1 team official

    FIDE, CFC and FQE rating will be used for team selection (if more than 6 players).
