  • Chessbase question

On Chessbase (any version, I think), do the following:

    1) Open an existing file.
    2) Click on the "Sources" tab.
    3) Select any "Source" and edit it (with F2),
    4) You will see a "Publication" and "Date" field. How do you blank out these fields if you don't want them? If you put in a title (and click OK), these two other fields are there forever - you can't get rid of them.
    5) The only way I have found to get around this problem is to edit games one by one by:
    a) Select a game.
    b) Edit it with F2.
    c) Select the "Annotator and Teams" tab.
    d) Enter something in the "Source" field, and click OK.
The new "Source" will appear after selecting (2) without the (usually annoying) "Publication" and "Date" fields.

How can I add a "Source" to a large number of games at once without adding "Publication" and "Date" fields?
