  • Two Canadian players at 2013 Susan Polgar Girls' Invitational at Webster University

Will be the first time when this tournament has players outside USA and Canada: Mexico, Columbia, Brazil and (unincorporated territory of the United States) Puerto Rico.

    • There will be an intense training session with Susan Polgar, followed by a 6 round (g/90+30) FIDE rated championship tournament.
    • The traditional Blitz, Puzzle Solving, Bughouse events will stay the same as in previous years.

Champion: Webster University scholarship (approximately $23,000+ per year x 4 years *) + iPad mini + Champion's Plaque / Trophy
2nd and 3rd place: Webster University scholarship (approximately $13,000+ per year x 4 years)

Alexandra was also invited as alumni participant, but she was already committed to participate in Quebec Open.

I am sure that if any of the top Canadian girls who are wishing to participate in the future at this event will receive a positive response from GM Susan Polgar.

    More info here.
