  • Grants to Windsor players at WYCC

Windsor Chess is pleased to grant $500 to each Windsor player who qualified for the Canadian team, provided the player goes to WYCC.

    Congratulations to
    • Jeannie Zhang, u10 girls
    • Rohan Talukdar, u10 open
    • Rachel Tao, u14 girls
    • Erica Forshaw, u14 girls

There was some discussion as to whether the amount of the grant should depend on whether the player was 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at CYCC, but in the end it was decided to make all the grants the same amount.

Congratulations to Jeannie Zhang, Rohan Talukdar, Rachel Tao, and Erica Forshaw for qualifying to Team Canada going to the WYCC 2013.

And a hardy Well-Done! to Windsor Chess for continuing to encourage our Canadian Youth locally and internationally.

Thank you John Coleman for all the hard work that you have done in Windsor.
