Question: Which Canadian politician drew a 1975 simul game against super-GM Paul Keres?

GM Paul Keres played and won his last tournament at Vancouver 1975, in May of that year. He died shortly afterwards, upon returning to Europe, at age 59. Prior to the Vancouver tournament, he played several simultaneous exhibitions in various Canadian cities. In one of them, a Canadian politician took a board against the legend, and drew his game. :)

Post your guesses, and I will give the correct answer later this week!

Possibly Leo Williams (a recent NDP and Green Party candidate)?

      I'll guess Iona Campagnolo.

The answer is current MP Ted Hsu, elected as a Liberal in Kingston and the Islands in 2011. :)

Ted was 11 years old when he drew GM Keres in Kingston, 1975.
