    After five rounds Jack Yoos and Tanraj Sohal are tied for first and have increased their lead to a full point over Alfred Pechisker and Butch Villavieja.

            Jack Yoos scored 5.5 points, enough to win the championship most years, but unfortunately for him Tanraj Sohal amassed 6.0 points to take first. We believe that Tanraj, 16 years old, is the youngest winner in the history of the event. Everyone else (except Howard Wu) tied for third with 3.0. Crosstable and games at the previous link.
