Final results @ http://www.aurorachessclub.ca/?page_id=3005 (the same link)

It was great to see the tournament final game on Board 1 lasting almost till bare kings and pawns where Victor Plotkin prevailed against Bindi Cheng. The winner cashed the first prize of 650$.

Games and pictures will follow over the week.
The report for the CFC might be sent today.

    P.S.
The main after-party conversation was about the NEXT LOL

      Results are at http://www.chess-results.com/fed.aspx?lan=1&fed=CAN too

      V.Plotkin demonstrated an extra-CAN-GM players level with a 2713 performance :)

Two players who were waiting for the outcome of the final game were Razvan and Nikolay, and probably they rooted for the Bindi's win LOL (then it would have been a 3-players tie for 1-3 prizes) Their personal encounter happened in R3

Re: 2013 Aurora Fall Open - results

Games were processed and they will be published at the club website somewhen tomorrow.
Pictures posted @ https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=51fdec8696 (not sure if it will work here)
              and https://picasaweb.google.com/1143172...eat=directlink

There could be a good reason why he is Victor :)
The winner in a chess face.

Even his results in some decline recently, Hugh was always in good mood

              White

Last but not least - Bob Girard - helped set-up and clear out.

Bob blogger. His is with a lucky shirt - 3/5 and +100 CFC points.

              Chess dreamer - Mike Ivanov

I tried to capture everyone but the first session was not 100% perfect, and the second day I managed to leave the camera's battery at home grr. Thus, not everyone got in the album :/ Come next time :)
