at a new location – Puck N Wings, 5625 Yonge St (at Finch – next to the subway station)
Entry fee is $20 - cash prizes for winners in rating
groupings as well as the top two or three over all.

Actually, the numbers were good as there is a large Russian community in the area. And this time we were limited by having only 8 chess sets on hand and so had to refuse the 18th player. We'll be asking players to bring sets and clocks on the coming Saturday.
BTW, I asked the manager how she was able to cope serving the whole bar alone as she was then. She said "It's not so hard, the chess players aren't buying anything!".
Please, people,it gets tiresome looking for new places to play!
