Been trying to get to the CFC Forums Website (Governors Discussion Board, or the CFC News Forum), and can't load it.

Anyone know what is happening?

I am with Michael now working on the rating update (amongst other stuff).

Did you notice the annual membership numbers are now posted? :)
In a nutshell, more kids fewer adults.

I can't find the membership stats anywhere on the CFC website. Can anyone give me a URL.

The stats are disturbing. I hope it is just a product of the harsh winter. I know that I was prevented from playing in tournaments both CFC and USCF at least three times by the weather. We have three additional adults playing again in Windsor who are not in those stats yet.

There are more kids playing chess in Windsor. I think a part of the jump in Ontario kids is the great work of Corinna and Juri at the Seneca Hill site.

It's well hidden :-) I always have trouble. But here it is:

And on the theory that teaching you how to fish is better than giving you a fish, the way to find it is to go to the top menu "About Us" - DON'T CLICK ON IT, click on the submenu to join/renew, then go down to the section on membership statistics and you will find the link there.
