  • Lev Aronin: Forgotten Master

The first part of my article Lev Aronin: Forgotten Master has just been published in the May 2014 issue of the British Chess Magazine. Needless to say, I am very happy about this.

The BCM has been in continuous publication since January 1881. Subscription information, etc., is at this link:

If you're interested, John Donaldson briefly notes some comments about Aronin in a review of Tukmakov's recent book. http://www.jeremysilman.com/shop/pc/...er-79p3854.htm
"We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office." - Aesop
"Only the dead have seen the end of war." - Plato
"If once a man indulges himself in murder, very soon he comes to think little of robbing; and from robbing he comes next to drinking and Sabbath-breaking, and from that to incivility and procrastination." - Thomas De Quincey
