There is an interesting line-up from Canada >>>
    WIM Yuanling Yuan
    IM Artiom Samsonkin
    IM Raja Panjwani
    FM Razvan N Preotu
    FM Roman Sapozhnikov
    Yuanchen Zhang
    Michael Dougherty

    ....and a few others.
So! Thats why the above were not at the Rapid on Saturday. :))

The discrepancy could be due to the merging of the different schedules (7-day, 5-day, etc.).

And...Canadians are tied for first in 3 other sections (U1300: Zhanhe Liu; U1500: Manxuan Zhang; U1900: Jeffrey Zhu) after 4 rounds.

And amazingly, Yuanling Yuan - after starting poorly with two losses, posted a string of wins including against Razvan Preotu and Raja Panjwani in rounds five and six!

Did Yuanling resigned in a draw position in her round 8 game?

            Re: Chicago Open - Live

With one round left to play/report, none of the Canadians that were leading their (lower) sections remain in the lead.
