I'm double checking with Toolsie concerning a voting deadline, so get your votes in soon!
    Then 1...Nf6 it is.

I vote for 2...e6 if they play 2.c4.

Should be expecting a vote from ChessForums by Friday, or Saturday at the least.
Brick walls hurt, but are effective for banging against repeatedly. For future reference, cardboard walls are fun too :)

                I vote 2...dxc4.

But I have down on my board I'm using to follow the game, that we voted for 1....Nf6 ( not 1....d5 ). Can one of our Australian moderators check this out please? Or did I miscount the votes?

How did we end up in a Queen's Gambit? I checked, and no one voted for 1...d5.

                    Hi Alexs and Bob,

There is already 1.....Nf6 made as our first move. Where did take 1... d5 from? Can you all straight that out, please?
                    Thank you,
                    Regards,
                    Caesar

Whoops, my bad. Too busy posting a board and not paying attention to what I was posting!
I've edited my post so it is now corrected.
Thanks to all who pointed the mistake out.

I vote for e6 and the Nimzo-Indian Defense. The King's Indian is not my cup of tea

Since we have now corrected the position to 1...Nf6, I correct my previous vote to 2...d6 . Also, in order not to split the vote and end up in another opening, I will change my vote to 2....g6 if that happens to be the majority wish.

                        I'd prefer not to end up with Alex's 2...e6 Nimzo-Indian. I'd rather get a KID .

It doesnt matter to me what opening it is but I will vote 2...g6 heading to a KID as that was the original intention.

Alrightee then two votes each for e6 and g6, with one vote for d6.

I'll retally around Thurs. evening for the final votes.

                                Hi Alex:

I switch my vote to 2...g6 ( from 2...d6 ), in accord with my earlier post which said:

" I correct my previous vote to 2...d6 . Also, in order not to split the vote and end up in another opening, I will change my vote to 2....g6 if that happens to be the majority wish. "

That currently gives 2....g6 a majority.
