Impressive pre reg guys for our second annual one day active! You can still register now(post aug 09) for $45 and enjoy the lunch for an additional $5 if you are playing in the tournament. If you are family/parent of participant you can enjoy the lunch for $15 extra per person. I do need to know sooner than later to give the restaurant time to prepare plus I need to know how many lunch tickets I've got to get!!?? . If you spot any errors on prereg list let me know.

There is no such thing as a free lunch? Well they are right. This free lunch comes with a one day active chess tournament where the cost for both is just $45, but only if you register by Aug 09th! The free lunch (soup and sandwich) is courtesy of Mohawk Chop House. For those who have played in our previous tournaments at this site(Mohawk Inn) and dined at the chophouse, you remember that food! YUM YUM! Let this one day active be a relaxed warm up to perfect your preparation for upcoming weekend tourneys! Every paid competitor can enjoy a full hour and 15min for lunch right there at the site. You dont have to travel! Think of the savings in time! Dont delay, if I dont receive your email entry time stamped by Aug 09th 11:59min 59 sec (do they time stamp in sec anyway?) there is no guarantee of the freee lunch.

The tourney is on Sat Aug 16th at the Mohawk Inn in Campbellville. Registration starts at 9 am. Entry fee is $45. Cash only. Think of this tourney as a somewhat relaxed way of practising your opening repertoire for the big weekenders you are preparing for or you can think of it as an enjoyable day of tournament active chess with lunch included. The first preregistered list will be out this weekend, saturday or sunday.
As an added bonus, (as if lunch isn't enough), those on the initial preregistration list are eligible for a prize.
