Is there a more public announcement of this tournament? I'm unable to access the Facebook event.

Actually, I could not access that link either…so I emailed Bryan Lamb (assuming he might be the TD)….but I haven't heard back from him.

Strategy Games will have a bookstall at the Labour Day Open, run by the lovely
Seena. Let us know in advance, if you need particular books/items brought there.

We will also have tournament sets available for rental, along with a limited number
of digital clocks. Do try to let us know in advance if you would like one reserved.

We will have them on sale too - the Mephisto Saitek, and North American DGT
clocks. I can heartily recommend the North American DGT - I've had one for over
a dozen years without a single problem. Its very robust, and unlike other digitals
which use knob/buttons for each player, the DGT has a strong, moulded centre-bar.

Best of all its the cheapest on the market ($59.95), has all the bells and whistles,
and tournament settings, and, best of all......comes with free batteries! :-)

On Facebook, tournament organizer, Randy Moysoski, posted at 5:25 PM EDT that there were now 91 pre-registereds (FB - 2014 Toronto Labour Day Open Chess Tournament: https://www.facebook.com/events/5341...t_mall_comment. )

He made no comment about whether an actual list would be posted before 11:00 AM EDT tomorrow (Saturday), when Rd. 1 starts.

Hey, Randy and/or Bryan, you guys have me down with the wrong rating on the pre-reg list. It says 2401, when it actually is 2178! Thanks, see you tomorrow!
