  • David Moody's "Dunst Cap"

    Chessgames.com's game of the day today is entitled 'Dunst Cap' and is noteworthy for a couple of reasons. First, David Moody is a name I'm sure most of our strong Windsor contingent are very familiar with. If not, check out:

    As that link indicates, David is famous for his miniatures and 'Dunst Cap' almost, but not quite, fits that mould. It should also be noted that David was conceding circa 300 FIDE points to his opponent so there's a bit of a 'David vs Goliath' element to this game. Lastly, the Dunst Opening has been a favourite lately of the top U18 in the world, Richard Rapport (2720). I'm sure Richard would be proud of David's rendition (:
