Toronto Thanksgiving Open
Oct 11,12,13 2014 (Sat, Sun, Mon)
At the Macedonian Community Centre, 76 Overlea Blvd, Toronto
Style: 6 rd. Swiss: Open with U2200 (FIDE rated), U2000, U1700, U1400
Rounds: 11 AM & 5 PM Saturday, 10 AM & 4 PM Sunday & Monday
Time Control: 40/90 then SD/30 ,30 sec increment from move 1 for Open section. 30/90 & SD/1 for all other sections.

L3S 4N6 or by email to bryan.lamb@rogers.com, or by

Membership: Registrants must be current CFC members or renew before playing.
Entry Fees: $90 by mail or e-cheque, $85* via website, $100 cash only on site.
Playing Up a Players within 100 points of section floor may play up for $10 extra.
Section:
Discounts: $20 less: junior (under 18) senior (60+), women, FM
$30 less for IM. One discount per player.
Byes: Maximum of 2 in rounds 1-5 if requested in advance.
Byes requested during event are 0-point.
PRIZES: $4,000
(Based on 90 players – 70% of fees returned)
1st place in Open Section - $800 minimum Guaranteed!
