  • Canada at the 52nd Chess Festival Groningen in Netherlands

Canada will be sending four chess players over to Groningen, Netherlands to compete in the 52nd Chess Festival Groningen starting on Sunday. Information can be found on the tournament website here (unfortunately not all parts are in English):

    http://www.schaakstadgroningen.nl/in...208&Itemid=309

The team consists of myself, Drew Metcalfe, Guang Yu Song, and Connor Morrow.

We would also like to specially thank Larry Bevand and Chess-Math for sponsoring some of our expenses for the trip. Your generosity is what made this trip possible.

Good Luck to the Queen's team!

Queen's University Chess Club has always provided Chess'n Math with a great (free) venue for the annual Quebec-Ontario team competition We are very happy to return the favour!
