    Rapid this Satyrday

The Saturday Rapid is back on track with the coming weekend's event. If there is any question whether these events translate into success in more serious competitions, just check out the events of the past week>>>>>

In Hungary, our regular players did well with Canada's three teams in the U-16 Olympiad, namely Razvan Preotu and Michael Song in the A Team as well as Mark Plotkin as Board One for the B Team >>>>>

Meanwhile, in Sao Paulo Brazil, David Cummings won the Pan Americas Senior (over 50) Championship with a perfect 7-0 score >>>>>>

And closer to home, at Hart House, the Holidays Open was split between Nikolay Noritsyn and Tomas Krnan >>>>>>

Is there any doubt that the Saturday Rapid is good training for the standard chess tournaments? C U Saturday.
    RSVP,
