Toronto-Honolulu air fares are still ridiculously cheap around that time period (I just got back a couple of weeks ago - paid $620 from/to Montreal) - $569 return ($Can - all taxes included). United - 1 stop in Houston. Still $300 cheaper than any Canadian airline.

There are many parts of Canada you cannot get to from Toronto for that price... astonishing to me that the price for a specific trip can vary all over the place depending on "market forces".

A flight from Montreal to Salluit (or Saluit) - as far north in Quebec as you can go - 1800 km - costs over $3200 return. :-) And that's within the same province.

Hawaii is tempting but if I don't go I am saving over $2000 (total cost).
