Jack, your link is strange. Something like a registration.

    This one http://chess-results.com/tnr143563.aspx?lan=1 is normal.

Reykjavik is 4 hours ahead of Toronto in time so you can subtract 4 hours from those starting times to get the Toronto starting times.

They didn't use accelerated pairings in R1 and the vast rating differentials made the results all too predictable. With a handful of games not reported as yet, there are no underdog wins and only 2 draws (boards 40 & 111)

I note now that one of the previously unreported games was a draw on board 6 between Hammer (2651) and Benet (2044).

Oh man! If Id known in advance I would have gone. Guaranteed at least one win! (probable pairing against an 1100 player)

Given Pruneda Arturo Gonzalez has precisely your 2131 FIDE rating, Hans, and was paired on board 117 against an 1119 player, I'd say you would have been a near certainly for a R1 win (:

I believe at an 800 point plus differential, Arpad Elo had the higher rated player scoring 100%. Even at 677 points he calculated a 99% score (:

A 4th draw has surfaced and unfortunately it's on board 70 between Canada's IM David Cummings (2345) and Eric De Winter (1776).
