If you havent registered yet there are a few days left and you can get in on the express burger lunch service for an extra $15. Dont forget about the lecture in the morning from 9:15-9:45am, aimed for players up to 1500 CFC rated for only $10. Bon appetite. Hope to make this a regular event on the chess calendar. What a concept, lunch and a tournament! There may other stuff as well, you never know?! Bon appetite! I seem to be fixated on the burger lunch, yum.

The registrations are coming in now. You guys like the free burger and fries lunch dont you? Or is it you dont have to wait on the restaurant since this is a faster way of being served than eating in the restaurant. Or is it the nice venue or is it the usually nice turnout for a one day active?

Could it be that Gordon Gooding is an awesome chess organizer, ......NAHH!..... but I'm trying.

Just another reminder for U1500 level players, I will be doing a lecture, $10 admission, aimed at your rating group from 9:15-9:45, if you are interested in attending the lecture please register for the tourney before registering for the lecture. Who knows, maybe some inspiration from the lecture may shine in your games, you never know?!

HI ALL, TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR REGISTERING FOR THE CAMPBELLVILLE LUNCH ACTIVE TOURNAMENT AND GET A FREE LUNCH WITH YOUR REGISTRATION. After 11:59 tonight, you can still register to play in the Campbellville Lunch Active chess tournament (Sat May 2nd at the Mohawk Inn and Conference Centre, 9230 Guleph Line, Campbellville) but you are on your own for lunch. You can can get the same lunch as the preregistered players if you missed the free lunch offer deadline, but you will have to pay extra now. Time is ticking. Play well.
