How do you flag with 30 seconds a move in such a position?
Adding further to the irony, Hans, Conrad's last move was 99. ...a4, a pawn push to avoid the 50-move draw rule.

The on line spectators were treated to commentary that occasionally stretched to almost 6 hours and mostly 5 hours plus. They certainly got more than their monies worth. (big joke there) On the last two days the commentaries were only 4 hours and 3 and a half hours long. Whats going on? But they made their decision to go off the air after the key results were in. Anyways a wonderful job by Jennifer, Yasser, Maurice, Alejandro, Ben and company. Well done! and of course far more fantastic if you were on site with the addition of the Kingside Diner and the World Chess Hall of Fame!

Well now, it seems that I was missing a whole lot of stuff. But the gist of my comment remains true.
