The RA Chess Club welcomes GM Eric Hansen and GM Robin van Kampen.
On April 19th they will give a co-lecture and Q&A, followed by a simul by GM van Kampen. Their lecture will focus on trials and tribulations of trying to make it as a professional chess player in Europe.

About the players:
22-year-old Eric Hansen is Canada's youngest Grandmaster. For the past year and a half he has been playing full-time in Europe. In 2014 he played on the Canadian Olympiad Team and has started 2015 right by tying for 3rd at the extremely strong Reykjavik Open in Iceland. This will be Eric’s second time at the RA Chess Club.
Robin van Kampen is one of the top young players in the world. The 21-year-old Dutch player is rated 2623. In 2014 he tied for 1st at the Canadian Open in Montreal and represented the Netherlands on their Olympiad team. This will be Robin's first appearance at the RA Chess Club.
