      Here are some facts about GM Ni Hua. He was born in 1983,which makes him 26 years old. According to Chessbase Megabase 2009,his current rating of 2724 is the highest rating he has ever achieved. GM Hua has won or drawn 66% of the games he has played with the white pieces, and he has won or drawn 59% of the games he has played with the black pieces. He has finished first in chess tournaments he has entered 4 times:Chinese Championship 2008, Chinese Championship 2006,Petrosian Memorial Internet Tournament 2004 against these players:Dreev,Bauer,Wang Yue,Svidler,Lautier,Zvjaginsev,Fressinet,Bu Xiangzhi,Sargissian,Nataf, Aronian,Khalifman, Zhang Zhong, Minasian and Lputian, and the Dos Hermanos Internet blitz event held in 2006 (defeating Deottling,Bu Xiangzhi,Petrosian, Movsesian, and Jaracz.)

      GM Ni Hua almost always plays the move 1.d4 when he has the white pieces, and he prefers to play the Sicilian Defense (1...c5) when his opponent begins the game with white using 1.e4.
