    I'm certainly amused that Jean-Jacques Rousseau heads up the 'Happy Birthday' section of chessgames.com today. Rousseau would be 303 today and has only one game of chess recorded therein, evidently played 250 years ago against the fellow philosopher and one-time friend before they became bitter enemies one year later in 1766 (see 2nd link below), David Hume (304 last month). Rousseau was clearly the superior chess player (:

    Another Jean-Jacques Rousseau was an active player of expert/master strength from Montreal in the 1970's/80's.
