  • Onomatopoeia

onomatopoeia - the formation of a word, as cuckoo, meow, honk, or boom, by imitation of a sound made by or associated with its referent.
Such words must be among the first words spoken by humans in the dim distance of prehistory.
One can imagine the infant wanting to be breast fed calling out 'mah, mah' >>>>mama.
While daddy is of in a corner smoking a pipe 'pah pah' >>> papa.
....and then a fart is heard - well you get my meaning. And to prove my point, the word 'fart' suggests onomatopoeic roots in every language that I have checked. I have not checked Japanese, Chinese or Arabic as I can't read the script. Help me out?
