    Date: Saturday, June 20, 2009
    Place: Kitchener City Hall, 200 King St, Kitchener, ON
    Learning Room
    Rounds: 5
    Type: Active Swiss with teams of four players from same club, company or
    region.
    Time Control: Game in 25 min plus 10 sec added per move (F)
    Rated by CFC: Rated as an active tournament
    Entry Fee: $40 for team of four
    Membership in CFC is required.:
    Membership fees forCFC: Adult Member per year =$43, Youth (under 18) = $27,
    Tournament Only = $20
    Payment: Cash only at site.
    Team Prize determined by matches won,lost, and drawn.
    Tie breaks determined by Board Point System: Boards 1 = 6 points, Board 2 =
    5 points, Board 3 = 4 points and Board 4 = 3 points,. For example a team
    that wins, 4 out of five matches would have 4 match points and possibly 64
    board points.
    Prizes: $$Based on Entries, trophies and cash.
    Registration: 10 am
    Rounds: Start times - 11 am, (lunch) 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm

    Dear Bob,
    I played in this event last year and you might recall that the rounds took over one hour to complete with this time control. Your round times should be adjusted by about 15 minutes or so, don't you think?

      Any word of a team from Hamilton? I played in this one year & its a great event. Only time I've been on a chess team other than 3 years in high school.
