I make it a 7-way tie for 3rd in a 12-man section. Several years ago, I had an 11-way tie for a $35 prize. They got $3.25 each

The prize distribution for the Pro Section was
1st-$300
2nd-$200
3rd-$105

Clear first (and a perfect score) Victor Plotkin gets first and $300
Clear second with 3.5 Wenlu Yu gets $200
All 7 players with 2.5 get $15.

The funny thing about it was for the 5th round I got a forced bye getting 2.5/5 (if I was good at chess I would've gotten 2.5 on the first day, but that's beside the point), and Mark Plotkin told me I could theoretically win 15 dollars. I laughed as that would take a ridiculous amount of forced results (draws for some boards, wins for specific players in others, and decisive results is in the last one), but that's exactly what happened.

Last 2 tournaments in Toronto area (Aurora and Guelph) I was the only player with CFC above 2300. Very sad.
