Additional activities in the skittles room included Giant Chess (including a giant chess blitz tournament), 4-way chess, Cardchess, Star Wars Chess, Super Mario Chess, bughouse, and I'm sure other activities I missed as a result of being primarily in the tournament room. Around 40 people showed up before the Sunday morning round for my lecture.

The tournament resulted in ~25 new 1-year CFC members, no doubt encouraged by our offer to subsidize new players' entries if they purchased a 1-year membership.
