  • On-line or free analysis?

Rather brilliantly, I forgot to install Fritz on my laptop before I came up to Ottawa, and I really want to analyse a couple particular positions in one of my games... does anyone know of any decent website or free program that would accomplish this?

      Try Ryba 2.2 http://www.rybkachess.com/index.php?...l=Demo+version
Chessbase light 2007 should have some engine (Fritz 6 or Crafty) http://www.chessbase.com/download/cblight2007/index.asp
      Shredder demo (30 days) http://www.shredderchess.com/download.html

As far as free options, we haven't found anything better than Shane's Chess Information Database using Rybka (3000):

        Rybka 2.2n2
