    Thanks very much for the exceptional report and photos of this event!! A wonderful opportunity for international fellowship between close allies. Canadian Major Regis Bellemare is to be highly commended for his efforts at chess promotion by building up this event!!

    It's worth noting as well that the Garrison Golf and Curling Club of Kingston has an annual golf tournament against the Fort Drum (Watertown) Golf Club, located just across the U.S. border, with host course alternating each year.

    And Royal Military College of Canada plays an annual hockey game with West Point Military Academy, site alternating. West Point won this year; this tradition goes back to the 1920s.
