    This long running series of events in Hungary is an excellent way to work toward FIDE titles. The schedule for the 2nd half of 2009 appears below as well as contact information.

    Licence to play
    in HUN
    The HUN CHESS FEDERATION takes yearly 6 EURO fee
    for the playing licence from every player, who plays in Hungary.
    1 EURO about = 280 Ft – Jan 2009 rate/,
    15 EURO fee for tournament registration

    Payment
    In cash, before the first round, preferable in Ft,
    according to the buying rate of the Western Union organisation.

    I have moved to Budapest temporarily to play in more tournaments of First Saturday. If anyone has any questions I will be happy to try and answer them for you.

    For now, I am scheduled to play in the June and July round robins of the 'FM' group.
