Pub Chess Toronto -$10 now includes food/drink ticket, lecture, tourney & casual play
Hi everyone,
www.pubchess.org (New website!) - Thanks to Patrick McDonald's son, Justin McDonald for creating it for us!
Pub Chess Toronto has now reduced the price to $10!
The point of Pub Chess Toronto is to play chess in a casual, not competitive atmosphere.
Are you a competitive player that needs some work on your Blitz/Rapid play? Come to play for fun.
Look out for special events we will be hosting (like Special Guest Lecturers, or Simuls) where potentially there will be a tournament with prize eligibility.
Wednesday Nights Info (PS. Tomorrow March 23 @ 7):
Tournament starts at 7:45 PM. There will be no money prizes, the tournament is included in the $10 club fee.
Casual Play anytime between 7 - 11 PM.
Females play FREE.
Feel free to ask the organizers for some tips during your casual games!

The point of our meet up is to popularize chess. Chess is known to be a very sophisticated game but we want to show the social and fun aspect of it! Come out, drink/eat, meet new people over the chess board! ****

Tournament:
Pub Chess Toronto offers tournaments for fun. We will have a tournament no matter how many people decide to register. The maximum rounds will be 5. There will be the option of two time controls, blitz or rapid. Blitz - 3 minutes + 3 seconds, 5 double-round
Rapid - 8 minutes + 5 seconds, 5 rounds
