    I don't often recommend anyone check out Spraggett's blog, but today he started Part I of a series titled "ALEKHINE’S DEATH" where he examines the circumstances around the death of the former World Champion and offers a lot of links to material that may be pertinent... Very interesting read. Looking forward to the next part but not happy about having to wade through the inevitable debris that will precede it... :)

        My theory is that the steak which Alekhine choked on was poisoned by the NKVD (predecessor of the KGB, now known as the SVR).
